If you love fashion and good, quality beauty products, you will be happy to find out that the designer Roland Mouret is launching his first beauty product. It is a body serum that he has developed in collaboration with Aromatheray Associates, which “brings a velvet touch on the skin of a woman”, as Mouret said.

The Final Finish Body Serum is meant smooth your arms, legs and décolletage, and to give you a very soft, glowing finish, after you put on a dress. The new product combines essential oils and natural ingredients such as evening primrose, jojoba, rose and vanilla.

Mouret said that he truly loves women, and this is why he thought about creating a product to enhance their skin beauty:
“I truly love women, all women. By the time a woman puts on one of my dresses we’re already into the second part of our relationship. Final Finish is yet another touch on the skin of a woman.”

The serum will be launched on September 24 and will be priced at 52,26 €. You will be able to find it on aromatherapyassociates.com.

How important is the way you look and feel for your sexual life? Studies say it’s almost vital. A survey made by the University of Pittsburg shows that cosmetic surgery can increase not only women’s self-esteem, but also boost their sex lives.

According to lead researcher Guy M. Stofman, chief of plastic surgery at the Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, after breast, abdomen, and thigh procedures, 95 percent of patients said they felt much better in their new bodies and their self-esteem grew considerably. More than half of the people involved in the survey said their sexual life improved.

Out of all the interventions, the breast and the body surgery lead to the best results concerning self-esteem and sexual life. Eighty percent of breast and 50 percent of body-surgery patients said they experienced more frequent and powerful orgasms.

On the other hand, face-and brow-lift patients didn’t report significant improvements in their sex lives.

If you thought Lady Gaga’s tour controversy was over, you were dead wrong! Hey guys, you’re tuned in to your news source, Electric Chapel. Lady Gaga is currently on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour, and the controversy is far from over. After facing the wrath of Christian protestors and from the Government in South Korea, Gaga will face similar opposition when her tour stops in Indonesia.

While the protestors in South Korea condemned Gaga for promoting “unhealthy sexual culture” through “lewd lyrics and performance,” Indonesian Muslims will take it a step further. These protestors are more concerned with Mother Monster’s alleged dealings with the devil.

A spokesperson for the Islamic Defenders’ Front told The Wall Street Journal, “Lady Gaga insults all religions. Even Christians in Korea opposed her. She is promoting the worship of Satan.” Chairman of the Islamic Defender’s Front went further by telling an Islamic newspaper, “If you want chaos in Jakarta, just continue to hold the concert.” We don’t think Gaga is opposed to chaos, but this doesn’t sound like the kind of chaos we’d like at a Monster Ball.

As of now, the June 3 show in the Nation’s capital is forging ahead as scheduled. What do you think of this controversy? Is it totally uncalled for or valid? Leave a comment, and follow Electric Chapel for more Gaga news. See ya!

Apple and Samsung continue to battle it out in the smartphone market, and Samsung continues to hold the upper hand. While Apple continues to hold a strong grip on the American smartphone market, the latest numbers for worldwide smartphone market share show that Samsung is beginning to pull away from Apple in its lead over the iPhone maker.

“The race between Apple and Samsung remained tight during the quarter, even as both companies posted growth in key areas,” Ramon Llamas, a senior research analyst with IDC, said today in a statement. “Apple launched its popular iPhone 4S in additional key markets, most notably in China, and Samsung experienced continued success from its Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet and other Galaxy smartphones.”

During the first quarter, IDC research reveals that Samsung remained the number one smartphone vendor in the world with a market share of 29.1 percent, nearly five percent higher than Apple’s stake of 24.2 percent. Samsung shipped 42.2 million smartphones worldwide in the first quarter, while Apple shipped 35.1 million iPhones. Both companies have increased their smartphone shipments dramatically year-over-year, with Apple and Samsung shipping only 18.6 million and 11.5 million smartphones respectively in the year-ago quarter.

At that time, Nokia was the top smartphone vendor with market share of 23.8 percent. A year later, it holds a staggeringly lower 8.2 percent stake in the smartphone market. Apple was also still ahead of Samsung at the time, but the smartphone landscape has changed significantly in the past twelve months.

“While Apple and Samsung have taken it in turns to lead the smartphone market over the last four quarters, it seems as if Samsung may now have established a firm lead in this space, shipping 11.8 million more units than the Cupertino, California company in Q1,” Juniper said in a statement today.

Apple has yet to launch the iPhone on the world’s largest carrier, China Mobile, so that could help the Cupertino-based company make up some significant ground in international market share. For now, however, Samsung is winning. Apple might dominate the United States smartphone market, but Samsung is dominating the rest of the world.

Earlier this year, Rochas announced that Olivia Palermo would be the face of their newest fragrance, Les Cascades de Rochas, and the first image has finally dropped.

Palermo, who’s been busy working on her fashion website, looks like an all-American girl swept up in the excitement of Paris.  Instead of going for the aspirational sex appeal that’s usually central to fragrance ads, it looks like Rochas’ angling for a younger customer who’s just interested in having fun (and who likes Palermo).

The perfume itself is a mix of musk, mango, pinapple, and bergamot with notes of Sichuan pepper.
