Episode three of ‘X Factor’ audition rounds went down last night and we’ve got your full recap right here.

The third round of auditions for Season 2 of ‘X Factor’ USA saw more hopefuls from Austin, Kansas City, and San Francisco complete with an arrest, a walkout, and an ambulence. The show opened with the judges learning Simon Cowell will not be joining them for the Kansas City, Missouri round and the contestants (pretend) to rejoice with that news! Taking over for Simon while he is out for the day is Simon’s most trusted second opinion, Louie Walsh.

First up in the show, we saw 18-year-old blonde haired Rizzloe Jones, a freestyle rapper from Kansas City. He let the judges pick his rap flow topic, so L.A. picked “X Factor” and Rizzloe shocked them all with a high energy original freestyle. Judge Britney commented “I felt like you were a young Vanilla Ice, Ice baby and I liked it a lot.” He moved on with four yeses.

Mid-auditions Demi and Britney planned a birthday celebration for L.A. and Britney shocked us with a super cute rendition of “Happy Birthday” which reminded us of Marilyn Monroe’s famous version of the song check it out.

Vino Alan shocked the judges when he took off his beanie to reveal a head full of tattoos, and shocked the judges again when he nailed his song “Trouble” with his unique voice. He got four yeses.

Next, the judges walked out on funnyman Deangelo Wallace who claimed he was better than Justin Bieber and Britney Spears. His awful performance of Chris Brown’s “With You” got the judges out of their seats and the amazing part was that he kept singing. After, he walked away with a $3,000 microphone so the crew chased him down and arrested him for blatantly trying to cash in on ‘X Factor’ equipment.

They also put through a favorite of the day a Country singer Tate Stevens who Britney said was one of her favorites so far. The judges left Kansas City for more San Francisco auditions where they picked up Simon Cowell again. First up was group Citizen a five member boyband who sang “Don’t Let Go” by En Vogue. Britney said “you guys rocked up there” while Simon didn’t like it. They moved on with three yeses.
.
We were super impressed with bubbly 13-year-old Diamond White from LA who sang “This Is A Man’s World”. Demi told her she had “the X Factor” and Britney thought she was amazing, so no surprise Diamond walked away with four yeses.

Over in Austin, Texas 18 year old Ally Brooke who belted out “On My Knees” and got four yeses from the judges. Simon said “we are looking at a future star here”.

Rambunctious 42-year-old Panda Ross sang “Bring It On Home” and admitted she was born in jail. She stole the audience’s hearts as well as the judges: Demi said, “I loved every bit of it!” and Simon said, “You sound like a legend.” Panda was then carried away in a stretcher after she couldn’t breathe admitting she previously had pneumonia and had left the hospital the day before.

The show ended with 22 year old judge favorite Jessica Spinoza singing Pink’s “Nobody Knows” and she passed with flying colors. There’s your X-Cap for the third audition episode of Season 2? Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour rakes in the dough!

As you know, Lady Gaga is in the midst of her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour and is only 8 stops in. She kicked off the tour in Seoul, South Korea, then jumped over to Hong Kong for 4 shows, then stopped in Japan for 3 show dates, all of which were sold out shows.

According to Billboard’s Current Boxscore on their website, in just these first 8 stops of her tour, Lady Gaga has grossed $29.3 million in ticket sales from the tour. That’s almost 30 million dollars, and Mother Monster is just getting started. Now remember, gross sales mean that is the amount she made from ticket sales total, without taking into consideration her costs, etc. from the tour. The actual number Mother Monster gets to keep herself is probably a fraction of this.

The ticket prices at these first 8 tour stops ranged from $33 to $312 American dollars. All in all, it’s a good year to be a Mother Monster. Lady Gaga reportedly made $90 million last year, including $30 million from Twitter alone. We’re sure she’ll surpass $90 mill this year, and she deserves it. What do you think of these numbers, is it too high? Tell us by leaving a comment below, see ya next time.

If you thought Lady Gaga’s tour controversy was over, you were dead wrong! Hey guys, you’re tuned in to your news source, Electric Chapel. Lady Gaga is currently on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour, and the controversy is far from over. After facing the wrath of Christian protestors and from the Government in South Korea, Gaga will face similar opposition when her tour stops in Indonesia.

While the protestors in South Korea condemned Gaga for promoting “unhealthy sexual culture” through “lewd lyrics and performance,” Indonesian Muslims will take it a step further. These protestors are more concerned with Mother Monster’s alleged dealings with the devil.

A spokesperson for the Islamic Defenders’ Front told The Wall Street Journal, “Lady Gaga insults all religions. Even Christians in Korea opposed her. She is promoting the worship of Satan.” Chairman of the Islamic Defender’s Front went further by telling an Islamic newspaper, “If you want chaos in Jakarta, just continue to hold the concert.” We don’t think Gaga is opposed to chaos, but this doesn’t sound like the kind of chaos we’d like at a Monster Ball.

As of now, the June 3 show in the Nation’s capital is forging ahead as scheduled. What do you think of this controversy? Is it totally uncalled for or valid? Leave a comment, and follow Electric Chapel for more Gaga news. See ya!

More rumors coming out of the infamous hit-and-miss Taiwanese publication DigiTimes today, this time claiming that Apple will release a 7-inch iPad in August, a new iPhone in September, and a 10-inch iPad later in the year, according to sources within Apple’s supply chain. This isn’t the first time we have heard rumors about a 7- to 8-inch iPad, but most speculation has pointed towards a 7.85-inch iPad.

Pegatron Technology reportedly has landed orders for a new-generation iPhone to be launched in September and a 10-inch iPad to be launched in the fourth quarter, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers. Pegatron is currently an OEM for the iPhone 4S and new iPad.

While the 10-inch iPad and new iPhone will be manufactured in part by Pegatron Technology, the report claims that Foxconn will be responsible for production of the 7-inch iPad later in the year. While talk of a 7-inch iPad and launch of a new iPhone in September are not unheard of, the 10-inch iPad definitely seems less likely. All we know for certain is that Apple definitely has something up their sleeves for the remainder of 2012.

Imagine you’re sitting on an airplane, and your iPhone suddenly explodes in your hands. That’s exactly what happened last November, when an iPhone was left shattered and glowing red after self-combusting on an airplane that had just touched down in Sydney, Australia. The incident raised discussions about the safety of these batteries on flights, since this was a dangerous situation that could easily be repeated purposefully for the wrong reasons. But, the cause of the problem is probably not what you would expect.

Australian government officials have concluded their investigation of the incident, and have determined that the cause of the combustion was due to a loose screw that managed to puncture the iPhone’s battery after a faulty screen replacement procedure by an unauthorized service center.

The loose screw made its way to the battery casing and punctured it, which created a short circuit and caused the battery to overheat. Thankfully, nobody was hurt on the airplane; however, it is still a big reminder of the dangers that can be associated with carrying electronic equipment on flights. Do you fly with your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad?
