iFixIt has gotten hold of an iPhone 5 (which is on sale in Australia right now), and they’ve already cracked it open to reveal the innards. Shockingly, it’s composed of smartphones parts, including a screen, some chips, and the casing made of aluminum and glass.

In all seriousness, the 6th-generation iPhone does have some interesting changes. Of note, Apple has continued to make their designs harder to open by requiring screw-drivers that are more difficult to obtain. However, asiFixIt notes, the iPhone 5 is roughly as user serviceable as the 4S was, if one has the right tools. In fact, since the new iPhone is opened front-to-back (note: suction cup necessary), replacing a cracked screen is significantly easier on the new device than it has in the past.

What wouldn’t you give for a relaxing Spa session at the end of a stressful day at the office, so that you could let all your worries be washed away by the delicate essential oils that gently caress your body? What can you do, though, if you can’t afford this kind of luxury?

Follow a few simple tips and you can bring the relaxing atmosphere of a luxury Spa in the comfort of your own home:

>> Remember that the blender is your ally not only when it comes to making delicious fruit juices, but can also help you in preparing facial masks in no time. Mix together fruits, yoghurt or honey, depending on your skin’s needs, and voilà – a facial mask within minutes, for a super-fresh complexion.

>> Let your body lotion warm up over a radiator about 15 minutes before you plan on using it. The heat ensures that its formula will penetrate your skin faster and better, and the warmth will give you a nice and cozy feeling.

>> Transform your bathroom into a sauna. Let he hot water from the shower run until the room fills with steam, and then take a warm washcloth and sprinkle a few drops of your favourite essential oil onto it. Breathe in the soothing aroma and let your entire body relax.

>> Shut down the lights and enjoy a relaxing candlelit bubble bath. You can even use scented candles, that you can coordinate with the scent of your bath products.

>> Put on a pair of gloves and socks after you’ve treated your hands and feet with a nourishing lotion, and go watch your favourite TV programme. The extra heat will ensure that the lotion is better absorbed into your skin.

You may find washing your hair the least important part in styling your hair the way you like it, but in fact washing it properly can make a huge difference. Here are three of the common mistakes you need to avoid:

1. Not wetting your hair enough

Wetting your hair completely is very important. Don’t skip this detail, even if you’re busy and you need to wash it quickly. Dirt is much easier to clean if hair is soaked wet first, so the shampoo can penetrate better.

2. Shampooing the ends

Try to apply shampoo mostly on your roots, where oil is produced. The ends of the hair are the ones that dry faster, and shampooing them too hard will only accentuate the lack of moisture. On the other hand, put conditioner on your ends, and keep it away from the roots, not to get your hair greasy.

3. Not washing enough, or washing too often

Indeed, it is better not to wash your hair often, but this is not a rule. Depending on the type of hair and the activities you do, you can wash your hair once a week, or daily. If you normally exercise everyday and you do a lot of workout, you can wash it more often, but it is better to use a shampoo gentle enough for everyday use. Also, straight hair tends to become greasy faster than curly hair, which is usually drier.

Lady Gaga reveals an unheard song at concert “Princess Die” an ode to the late Princess Diana.

Lady Gaga is on her “Born This Way Ball’ world tour right now, and has debuted brand-new song titled “Princess Die” that is D-I-E, at her show in Melbourne, Australia. The song is a tribute to the late Diana, Princess of Wales who was killed in a car crash at the premature age of 36 and stole the hearts of people around the world.

The song is a somber one, as Gaga warned fans before singing, “Ok his song is a little bit sad,” She went on to reveal, “And it’s in no way reflective of the rest of the music on the album, but it’s about some of the most deep and personal thoughts I’ve ever had.”

The song starts off, “Leave the coffin open when I go/ Leave my pearls and lipstick on so everybody knows/ Pretty will be the photograph I leave/Laying down on famous knives so everybody sees.”

Mother Monster said she is not sure if the song will make it on her upcoming album that she is currently working on while on tour. We will have to wait until September to find out.

After the song Gaga said, “What do you think is that ok?” Check out the video of Gaga performing the song, and let us know if you think it’s OK?

Watermelon is one of my favorite summer fruit. I’ve been eating it – without fork & knife -since I was a child and my grandfather often had a fresh slice for me at lunch. I not only like the taste, but I also love the color. It’s not strange that, as all beautiful & goodthings, it inspires fashion world. Sometimes only for its color, some other times also for its shape. Vivetta brand is quite famous for its skirts, bags and dresses inspired by nature. Probably you saw the watermelon skirt wore by the blonde salad for MFW. It’s a quite expensive brand, but you can find something for less from asos – like the shirt. To be honest I love the skirt, the bags, the Clinique lipstick (it seems to be the new summer “must have”), but the rest it’s probably too much! What do you think? do you agree? Are you going to add something in your wardrobe?

We’ve got a sneak peek of Katy Perry’s new music video for ‘Wide Awake’!

A video teaser of Katy Perry’s new music vid for ‘Wide Awake’ has landed online, and we’re breaking it down. It’s a trip down nostalgia lane for Katy Perry, who may have taken some notes from pal Taylor Swift for this vid.

The fairytale-like music video teaser starts with images of rustling leaves in an enchanted forest, where at an ancient table, a young Katy flipping through the chapters of her life in a “storybook”. As the pages go by, we see in each Chapter the real Katy in her previous music videos, including ‘Teenage Dream,’ ‘Firework,’ and ‘E.T.’.

When the young Katy gets to the Final Chapter, she pops a peppermint candy in her mouth- the same one that Katy and tour crew tattooed on themselves, indicating ‘Wide Awake’ could be the final chapter in the book- or her final single from the Teenage Dream Collection. In the final chapter we see a “giant labyrinth”, a poison strawberry, a “curious cat”, and a Prince Charming. At the end of the teaser Katy remains a little girl, alluding that she never grew up possibly? We’ll have to wait for the full video to find out.

All you sleepyheads will be Wide Awake when the full length video drops on June 19 on Vevo and MTV! Check out the link to the teaser below, and leave us your comments! Are you excited or the full music vid?
